The A600 helicopter by RotorWay is a 2 person "DIY / homemade" helicopter that can be built by an amateur. The A600 can be purchased as a kit. RotorWay even has the option to for you to buy the kit in four stages. This means you don't have to spend all of the $104,685 USD (price 2017) at once. Yes, owning a helicopter is rather expensive, but many new cars today are in this price range, so wouldn't you rather be flying your own helicopter than driving a fancy car? So why not go ahead and build your own helicopter!
