One of the first engine powered parachute wing vehicle was designed in Poland in mid-eighties, by aeronautical engineers: Marek Debski Ph.D. and Andrzej Komor Ph.D. The communicate provides some information concerning that early project. The power unit consisted of the KFM piston engine and two counter-rotating over-ducted propellers. Such idea was selected in order to eliminate possible gyro effects and due to this, to facilitate vehicle?s handling. The power unit was mounted on a vehicle?s carriage. Wide stretched analytical investigated by use of a specially prepared ground test bed. All the structure ( i.e. the carriage and parachute) was easily demounted and packed into a car luggage compartment for transport purposes. Info & Contact: [email protected]
