The QUIK is at the cutting edge of flexwing development. Offering speed, climb performance, comfort, quietness and above all relaxed flying in weather conditions avoided by the normal flexwing pilot. It?s light handling small wing with ?hands off? trim speed in excess of 80 mph, and a level speed of 100 mph makes distance touring a reality and ground handling simplicity itself. The Quantum?s 409 kg MAUW is retained, but the payload has increased due to the aircraft?s lighter weight. Finally, we listened to Quantum owners telling us how they would like the already superb comforts of the Quantum enhanced, this resulted in larger seating, more rearward headroom for the passenger and more wind protection.
