The DAR-21 by Aeroplanes DAR, is a two-seat aircraft, engine ranging from 60 to 120 HP. It has a fully enclosed cabin with tandem seats. The aircraft is flown from the front or back seat. There is only one door on the right side giving access both to seats and cargo sector.

All necessary instrumentation is mounted on the front panel, from where the aircraft is flown when flying solo.

The building materials of the DAR-21 airplane are aluminum alloys 1050, 2024, 3105 and 6061. The wing is rectangular with a single spar construction. The fuselage is made of rectangular tubing and steel struts with stressed aluminum skin. Cowling is made of composites. It has a steerable tail wheel. The fuselage holds a 30 liter fuel tank, but wings can be equipped with wing tanks.
